To square up to Mercedes-Benz in the field of large GT coupés and luxury convertibles, in 1955, BMW presented, along with the 507 Roadster, the completely newly developed 503 range. Like the 507, the 503 was designed by Graf Goertz and, with its 3.2-litre, 8-cylinder, cast aluminium engine, achieved a top speed of 190 km/h (119 mph). Schuco presents the die-cast BMW 503 with hardtop in 1:43 scale. The Schuco model in elegant black with red Interior is, for the first time, available with an optional hardtop. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.
