Nobody expected to see a propulsion car based on the Audi R8. After all, the manufacturer is a specialist (and the inventor) of the Quattro system. And yet, it turns that Ingolstadt knows how to have some fun and said to hell with tradition: the R8 RWS would be a rear-wheel drive. With a V10 atmospheric engine hitting 8500 rpm, a lighter chassis and a good old mechanical limited slip differential, the technical aspects of the car are impressive. The ESP, assisted steering, camber angle and shock absorbers have all been redesigned to aid with propulsion. The result makes for a unique driving experience.
