Important Notice: Canada Post Overtime Ban May Cause Delivery Delays

As of May 23, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has implemented a nationwide overtime ban. This means that Canada Post employees represented by CUPW will not work beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 

Canada Post continues to operate, and mail and parcel deliveries are still being processed. However, due to the overtime ban, customers may experience delays in receiving their items. 

At this time, there are no rotating strikes or national work stoppages. Canada Post is monitoring the situation and will provide updates if there are any changes to postal operations. 

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this period. If you have urgent shipping needs, please consider using alternative delivery services.
