In 1982 Porsche brought great satisfaction to their fans while introducing a 911 Speedster type 964. This version was based on a 964 carrera 2 however it came with a lower windscreen and a hood cover that were "borrowed" from the 3.2 Speedster. The 964 Speedster was also available in a "Turbo look" wider version but it had to be special ordered with Porsche.
